### 1. The Mobile Attack Surface & Hardening Arsenal 🛡️

1. **Man-In-The-Middle (MITM / Charles Proxy):** Hacker phone me custom root CA certificate install karke banking API traffic inspect karta hai.
    * *Defense:* **SSL / TLS Public Key Pinning!** (App sirf server ke specific public key hash ko accept karti hai).
2. **Token Extraction:** Rooted/Jailbroken phone me filesystem se tokens extract karna.
    *   *Defense:* **Hardware Keystore / iOS Keychain (`react-native-keychain` / `expo-secure-store`)**.
3. **Reverse Engineering:** Hacker APK decompile karke proprietary algorithms dekhta hai.
    * *Defense:* **Hermes Bytecode Compilation + ProGuard / R8 Obfuscation!**

---

### 2. SSL Pinning Implementation with TrustKit / Network Security Config

```xml
<network-security-config>
    <domain-config>
        <domain includeSubdomains="true">boostengine.in</domain>
        <pin-set expiration="2027-01-01">
            <pin digest="SHA-256">47DEQpj8HBSa+/TImW+5JCeuQeRkm5NMpJWZG3hSuFU=</pin>
            <pin digest="SHA-256">GHI...=</pin>
        </pin-set>
    </domain-config>
</network-security-config>
```

### 3. Master Comparison Matrix

| Security Layer | Attack Vector | Mobile Solution |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
| **Network** | MITM Proxy packet sniffing | **SSL Public Key Pinning** |
| **Storage** | Plaintext SharedPreferences theft | **iOS Keychain / Android EncryptedSharedPreferences** |
| **Code Binary** | Bytecode reverse engineering | **Hermes Bytecode + ProGuard / R8** |
| **Integrity** | Running on hacked rooted device | **Play Integrity API / DeviceCheck (Jailbreak Detection)**|

---

### 4. Interview Ke 3 Sawal Is Topic Se

1. **Certificate Pinning vs Public Key (SPKI) Pinning me kya difference hai?** -> Certificate pinning me SSL cert renew hone par app break ho sakti hai; Public Key Pinning me CSR key pair same rakhne par cert renew hone par bhi pinning valid rehti hai.
2. **Root / Jailbreak detection app me kaise implement hoti hai?** -> Substrate/Frida hook presence, `/system/bin/su` binaries aur test-keys build tags inspect karke.
3. **Hermes JS Engine security me kaise contribute karta hai?** -> JavaScript source code plaintext me pack hone ke badle ahead-of-time (AOT) compiled Hermes binary bytecode format me distribute hota hai.
