### 1. What is JavaScript? (Asaan Bhasha Me)

JavaScript ek **High-Level, Interpreted, Dynamic, Single-Threaded** programming language hai.

* **High-Level:** Tujhe memory management ki tension nahi leni.
* **Interpreted:** Line-by-line execute hota hai (JIT compilation ke sath).
* **Dynamic:** Variable ka type runtime pe decide hota hai. `let a = 5` baad me `a = "hello"` bhi ban sakta hai.
* **Single-Threaded:** Ek time pe ek hi kaam. Lekin Event Loop ki wajah se asynchronous kaam kar leta hai.

**Tagline yaad rakh:**
> HTML = Skeleton (Haddi)
> CSS = Skin & Clothes (Kapde)
> JavaScript = Brain & Muscles (Dimaag)

JS ke bina website murda hai. Button dabane pe kya hoga, data kaise ayega, animation kaise chalega - sab JS ka kaam hai.

### 2. History - Poori Kahaani

#### 1995 - 10 Din Me Bani Bhasha
* **Creator:** Brendan Eich, Netscape company me kaam karte the.
* **Makers ne bola:** Browser me ek chhoti scripting language daalni hai jo designer bhi likh sake.
* Brendan ne **sirf 10 din me** language bana di.
*   Naam rakha gaya: **Mocha**

#### Naam Badalne ka Drama
1.  **Mocha** (May 1995)
2. **LiveScript** (Sep 1995) - Marketing ke liye naam change
3. **JavaScript** (Dec 1995) - Us time Java bahut famous tha, to Java ka naam use karke famous hona chahte the. Java se iska koi lena-dena nahi hai! Ye sirf marketing trick thi.

#### Browser War & ECMAScript ka Janam
* Microsoft ne apni copy bana di - naam diya **JScript** apne Internet Explorer ke liye.
* Ab 2 alag-alag JS ho gaye. Developers pareshaan.
* Sabne bola ek standard banao.
* **1997 me ECMA International** organization ne standard banaya jiska naam diya **ECMAScript (ES)**.
* JavaScript us standard ka implementation hai.

**ECMAScript Versions Timeline:**
*   **ES1 (1997):** Pehla standard
* **ES3 (1999):** Bahut famous hua, sabne support kiya
* **ES4:** Kabhi launch hi nahi hua, bahut bada tha, fail ho gaya
*   **ES5 (2009):** Bada update - `strict mode`, `JSON`, `Array.map/filter` sab isme aaye
*   **ES6 / ES2015 (2015):** Sabse bada revolution! `let/const`, `arrow function`, `class`, `promise`, `modules`
* **ES2016 se ab tak:** Har saal ek naya version aata hai - ES2016, ES2017... ES2024

---

### 3. TC39 Kya Hai? - JS Ka Sarkar

**TC39 (Technical Committee 39)** ek group hai jo decide karta hai JavaScript me kya naya feature ayega.

* Members kaun hain? - Google, Microsoft, Apple, Mozilla, Meta ke bade-bade engineers.
* Ye log milke naya proposal dete hain.

#### TC39 Process - 5 Stages (Interview me puchte hain)
Koi bhi feature seedha JS me nahi aata, 5 stage se guzarna padta hai:

* **Stage 0: Strawman:** Bas idea hai, "aisa kuch karna chahiye"
* **Stage 1: Proposal:** Formal proposal ban gaya, kya problem solve karega likha gaya
* **Stage 2: Draft:** Syntax aur semantics ka pehla draft ready
* **Stage 3: Candidate:** Feature almost final hai, ab browsers implement karke test karte hain
* **Stage 4: Finished:** Testing ho gaya, ab agle ECMAScript version me officially ayega

> Example: `Array.at()` method Stage 3 se 4 me jaake ES2022 me aaya tha.

### 4. Client vs Server Execution - Sabse Important

JavaScript shuru me sirf browser (Client) ke liye tha, par 2009 me sab badal gaya.

#### A) Client-Side Execution (Browser me)

Jab JS browser me chalta hai.

**Kaise chalta hai?**
1. Tera `index.html` server se browser me aata hai.
2. Browser ke andar **JS Engine** hota hai (Chrome ka - V8, Firefox ka - SpiderMonkey).
3. Engine tera JS code padh ke execute karta hai.

**Kya kar sakta hai?**
* DOM Manipulate - HTML ko badalna
* User se interact karna - click, form validation
*   API se data mangna - `fetch()`
*   Browser APIs use karna - `localStorage`, `geolocation`, `canvas`

**Limitations:**
* File system access nahi hai (tere computer ki file nahi padh sakta - security)
* System pe depend karta hai, har browser thoda alag behave kar sakta hai.

#### B) Server-Side Execution (Node.js se)

**2009 me Ryan Dahl** naam ke bande ne **Node.js** banaya.
Usne Chrome ke V8 Engine ko browser se nikal ke alag kar diya. Ab JS browser ke bina bhi chal sakta hai.

**Kaise chalta hai?**
1. Node.js ko apne computer/server pe install karte hain.
2. `node file.js` command se JS file direct computer pe chalti hai, browser ki zarurat nahi.

**Kya kar sakta hai? (Jo browser me nahi kar sakta)**
* File System Access - File banana, padhna, delete karna (`fs` module)
* Database se connect hona - MongoDB, MySQL
* Server banana - Backend API, Authentication
*   OS se baat karna

#### Comparison Table

#### Ek Full Cycle Example

Tu Instagram kholta hai:
1. **Client (Browser):** Tera `feed.js` chalta hai, post dikhata hai.
2. **API Call:** `fetch('instagram.com/api/posts')` se request jaati hai.
3. **Server (Node.js):** `server.js` request sunta hai, Database se post nikalta hai.
4. **Response:** JSON data wapas bhejta hai.
5. **Client:** Wapas JS data ko HTML me convert karke dikha deta hai.

**Isi ko kehte hain Full-Stack JavaScript - Frontend bhi JS, Backend bhi JS.**

---

### 5. Interview Ke 3 Sawal Is Topic Se

1. **Java aur JavaScript me relation hai?** -> Bilkul nahi, sirf naam ka marketing tha.
2. **JS Interpreted hai ya Compiled?** -> Pehle interpreted thi, ab **JIT (Just-In-Time) Compiled** hai. Engine pehle compile karta hai fir execute.
3. **TC39 ka kaam kya hai?** -> JS ke naye features ka standard decide karna.
